TL;DR: 1. Be the best you in all aspect. Physical, mental, career, friends, etc. 2. Don't be needy, be okay with whatever happens, do your own thing, be fun and positive. 3. Shower them with love, adoration and fantasies. 4. Make them miss you. Always being there gets boring and leaves them no room to miss you. Stir their emotions, from time to time either positive or negative. It creates uncertainty and excitement in an otherwise dull relationship.

If the master gets outperformed, that means that person wasn’t a master at all. Never let a bar that has been set stop you from going higher. Sure you can act naive to make the master feel good about themselves, but always make progress. If you don’t outperform then stagnation happens and nothing new happens.

How come 700k+ views and 26k+ likes but just 228 comments? Have people predominantly listened as a podcast? What do these stats do to the algorithm? I loved it. My experience of the most successful people is those who are best at deciding what they should give energy to and not, getting others to do the rest or just letting those tasks slide. Without putting others off. And not getting anxious with any of that. Unfortunately not me.

This is garbage. 48 Laws of Power should be called "How to Be Fake As Fuck". I want a list of all the people who believe in this garbage so I can stay the hell away from them. Btw, I have a best friend that I work for on occasion. He tells me, under no circumstances, to not work hard and put in maximum effort to please the other employees or managers that I would occasionally work under, depending on the task. I refuse to do an average job when I know damn well I can do a professional job. This is poison.

I recently got a job in sales. To my knowledge i detest sales, i thought i was no good. Even tho i have been in and out of jobs for the past year i cried because i thought i would also fail at this and further prove to myself that im unable to keep a job. Well its been 2 months and my numbers started off really bad but ive been progressively increasing my numbers and also my confidence. I had to face my fear of rejection and challenge myself to be more witty. I still every now and then feel like im going to fall flat on my face but everyday i have been winning and it proves that anything u consistently do u will get better at it.

Everyone with social anxiety is probably TOO IN THEIR HEADS already and don't need all of this micro analysis playing in their mind during every interaction. Thinking if the other person notices you touching your face too much or about shifting your weight from left to right foot is what ANXIETY FEELS LIKE. Why would this help? Half the things in this video and I imagine in the book are things people with social anxiety ALREADY know from behavioral feedback so it's not necessarily giving you actionable ways to change it, just repeating what you already know instinctively.

I was researching stoicism, came across this book & decided to give it a try--> I got to the end of chapter 1 & concluded it's nothing more than a reason for the author to use the F_ bomb as many times as he can. Nothing more than self-indulgent, juvenile tripe that isn't worth your time.

I bought this book a few months ago. Loved it and told colleagues about it. I even bought a Dutch version for one colleague..😊

While it is true 99% of the time, that 1% would be when the person is upset why weren't you free enough to tell them this before or something like that. Differentiating "use and throw" types and "caring" types is also important.
